Scott here: love the forum and it's already been very helpful! Picked up my 5.3 TB last week after 7 months in the waiting. made a last minute switch from the 6.2 once I saw the gas prices going off the charts and that both engines tow the same. Hopefully I'll be happy with it, so far its incredible in all respects. Now that we're broken in we'll take it towing this weekend (6000 lb travel trailer). We live in central CO at 7K ft and often tow up to 11K or so... should be fun!

Great photos! Congrats on the new Trail Boss!

New to the forum and new to a trail boss. Just picked up my refreshed 2022 with leather, 6.5' bed, and the 3.0 duramax. So far I have tinted the windows, ordered a tonneau cover, and getting new tires Wednesday. Loving it.

Welcome, beautiful ride. That 5.3 will tow 6,000 lbs just fine. My TT is 7,500 and it does mountains well. Next week I am doing a 10 day overland trip (ground tent) in Utah and CO. We will be doing the entire Alpine Loop.

Love the Blue, I had trouble finding one in Blue. Was my first choice but not my wife's, so my Dark Ash is on its way. Also, those don't look like stock tires, what are they?

Thanks man! This color, Northsky Blue Metallic, is the second-best color available IMHO. Only the Glacier Blue Metallic looks better on this truck to me.

And yes, these are the stock LT275/65R18C Mud-Terrain Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs that come mounted on the standard 18" rim. They just look super shiny, after some tire black was applied! Plus the wide-angle lens makes them look a bit smaller ;)

I ordered my Midnight Edition Trailboss in April of 20 when the heat was on us from the Pandemic. I was told 6 months. Received a call in May of 20 saying it's on its way. A Midnight Edition with the 6.2 and 20" Wheels was on first to come of the line when GM shut it down for a bit. Believe me, theirs a lot thats happened since then. Lets just say for now that ok, I got the XT Warranty, and Yep I lost it in the First 24 Hours. Custom baby, Custom!!! But I wanted to say hello from the Beautiful Malevolent Ridden City of N'awlins, Louisiana

What kind of supercharger is that? I would love the one from Magnuson or Whipple for my 6.2 someday!

Hi all, new to the forum, have not owed a Chevy for some years, looking forward to a Trail Boss with a 3.0 Duramax.

Have you taken delivery? Mine is still sitting in Mexico, so like you looking forward to a Trail Boss w/ 3.0 Duramax. Dealer has confirmed, no missing chips, no issues, no exceptions, it is built and just waiting to be shipped. He did admit only checked to make sure no codes/exceptions this time since has been built for a month. hopefully it arrives soon! Sure you will like it, everyone on this thread seems to be very happy with the Trail Boss.
