What's new

What did you do to your Trailboss today? 🛠️

not exciting, don't even have any pics, but put Duratrac RT tires on my factory 20" rims. Live in the mountains.....it's a night and day difference. Previously had the OE Goodyear AT tires on the same wheels. Great tire.....noise is not an issue with these.

$1750 out the door w/$260 road hazard warranty. Most I've ever spent on tires for sure. Discount Tires

Looked at it and detailed it from normal garage dust. Hopefully done salting the roads around here to go off-roading again!

put a fuel door lock on & a looking cap after having fuel siphoned

Just cut a slot in the plastic, won't stop anyone if they want to get in but may put someone off

I installed the Bluetooth controlled Banks PedalMonster on my 2024 5.3L LT.
The reviews are accurate, it can be dialed in to perform the you want and more.
I have 275/65R20 10 ply tires that won't have a very long life if I left it at Mid Sport Level. It really adds the type of take off that'll chisel a smile on your face. I haven't tried it set any higher.

Normal driving, 3/4 up City Mode seems to be a sweet spot. I love the reverse safety. I'd hate to try to back a trailer while it was performing in Sport or Track levels.

Installation wasn't a cake waIk for me.I found it difficult removing the connector atop the gas pedal. Just not an easy task for a pudgy 65 year old guy with more metal inside than most of today's cars. I'm not as flexible as I used to be, nor do I have the hand strength of my younger days. Still sore after 4 days.

For a young healthy person it would likely be a 15 minute connection for testing function. I've yet to go back and find the best area to keep the extra long power connection cable. Simply tied out of the way now.

It sure gives us the ability to add "Street Fun" to our TRAIL BOSS trucks.

Oh yea, BIG WARNING: REMOVE BEFORE TAKING IN FOR SERVICE!
Yea, I know. But for me it's worth it.

I had put those on my Colorado prior to trading it and they sure did improve that tire from the old version, much quieter although I only had 10k on them when I traded it…

Installed Sealight S2 LEDs. My last upgrade for a while. Install was easier than anticipated on the low beams. High beams sucked. Dropped the wheel liner on the driver’s side and got that one installed. That bulb took about 30 minutes. Wife came out to check on me as I was starting the passenger side hi beam. She insisted she wanted to try. She reached down there, removed the cover, took out the old bulb, installed the new one, and had the dust cover back on in about 7 minutes. I’m not sure if I should laugh or cry. On a positive note, they’re probably the best bang for the buck upgrade I’ve done. Last pic was before the new bulbs.
😂 how do you like the S2 LEDs?

I just installed a Pulsar LT. On the fence about it. I love the way the engine runs, but the transmission doesn’t shift as smooth and the brakes feel less sensitive. I may just be being paranoid. My truck has the towing package with the 3.42 rear end. I did enter that value in the axle ratio menu, so I don’t think that’s the problem.

Pulsar has NOTHING to do with brakes AT ALL. Engine doesn't run any different, it just changes throttle sensitivity. Transmission is based on axle ratio and takes a bit to learn shifting as I'm sure it overrides the learned shifting you had before installing it.

I appreciate your response. I have to say I can tell a difference with the way the engine performs just based on the AFM (L82) being disabled.
