What did you do to your Trailboss today? 🛠️

Installed gloss black badges and new bed decals. Looking to powder coat my tips or get dual tips. Amp side steps installed. CAI intake and magnaflow exhaust delete are in the mail. Figure I’d start there before getting a $1000 plus exhaust swap. Found the delete open box for $78. Looking yo get the Pulsar or have the local dealership do the AS & DFM deletes. I know some guyzzz. Also looking at the Lomax bed cover and a Drone security / stat system. Will also have a local wrap shop put on either matte or gloss back racing stripes down the hood, roof and tailgate. Any thoughts on the JLT oil separator? Oh yeah, probably install a Lock Er Down console vault as well for the gat etc.
I may go crazy and do the fuel rank retro before vacation to CO next year. Give me a 50+ gallon range.
On the negative side I’m at 2500 miles and I’m pretty sure I have a driver side leaf spring clank. Sounds like I have a body in the trunk rolling around…if I had a trunk. Annoying as hell. Well done Ditto on the “Black Edition”

Since joining, i added a retrax pro bed cover, blacked out the z71 and the rest of the front bowtie and put on the AVS low-pro hood deflector.. ordered a set of fender flares and windown vent/rain visors. Amp powered steps to come and possibly the yakima surf racks..View attachment 180

Installed the Pulsar LT, bakflip tonneau cover, carpet pad, blacked out the badges and installed a Rough Country exhaust.

Plastic dip Z71, it was kinda a pain in the ass. Didn’t peel off as easy as I hoped.

very curious about this one...watched a youtube where they sprayed on the truck then peeled off, but terrified to just go praying plastidip on my paint lol.

I plasti dipped my chrome Silverado and LT tailgate letters. Kinda pain in the butt to peel off every little piece but it came out great. Still looks the same 9 months later.

I Plasti-Dipped the chrome letters on my tailgate this past weekend. It was much easier than I expected. Next up will be coating the Z71 emblems on the fenders. I’ll see how the coating holds up.

I deleted my muffler on my 21 trail boss with the magnaflow delete kit. Found an open box online for $78. Nothing was missing when it arrived. I love the sound. I also clamped the flapper in the open position. I haven’t noticed any drone yet but I have already ordered the pulsar LT.

I scored a free bed rug for the Boss last week...there are still good people left in this world. Got it put in over the weekend. It should be good under the Retrax cover.

Tell us about your modifications, upgrades, repairs and customizations!

Very happy to say that over the weekend I did a much needed upgrade. I removed the Chevy bbq grill that they called a muffler and valve and installed a black widow angry housewife muffler. I also removed the resonator patches in the back and welded straight pipes. I cannot say enough about how great my truck sounds now. Along with the cold air intake from cold inductions I installed when I first got the truck a couple of months ago it feels like a truck gain more power. Very happy with the result. Here is a video so you can hear how my truck sounds now.

So far I’ve done what most have: cold air intake, Pulsar LT, and the JLT 3.0 oil separator. I also swapped out the stock TB decals with some flat black ones.

I did the same matte TB on the bed, looks so good with the rest blacked out
