Tell me about this protectant stuff... I already have the D6 GoRhino.... But want something to help keep lazy feet from scuffing my red paint....

looks good.(y)
I just did mine over the weekend and I also want my Silverado, and LT, either black or gone?
My truck being black scares me, I think i'll end up messing up my paint one way or another?
Good luck doing yours and post some pics when you are finished.

When I removed all my badges, I only had a few light scratches where I took off the Z71 fender badges (they are a pain). My local body show sanded them out and it's like they were never there.

does this hold up well with the exhaust temps?
They have held up great since I did this. I put probably 5 or 6 coats on them and have no issues with peeling or discoloring. The tips are not connected to the exhaust so I assume they do not get anywhere near that hot.

Haven't had any problems and honestly don't notice if they are crooked
Ended up trimming factory stuff and the bag brackets, tilted the front top bracket about 5* to help match the lower that's about 9* tilt .. I'm sick of the crap frame coating...

Tip for trimming front fender liners (in front of the front wheels)... I removed the plastic support from in front of the front wheels. There are little green clip nuts in the plastic support, take one out. Trim the fender liner in front of the front wheel to be even with the bottom of the frame rail. Find the little square hole in the frame rail and put the little green clip nut into it. Use an awl to poke a hole through the fender liner. Use the one of the factory T15 Torx bolts to attach the liner to the frame. Bam!! Like GM meant for us to do it!
