What's new

What did you trade in for the Trail Boss?

Traded in a 2017 F150, have had a variety of F150s over the past 7 years and nothing but issues. This truck is the best I've owned so far. Very happy with the purchase.

Traded in Ruby, 2006 Z71 1500 that was my baby since ahe had 35000 miles on her. She worked hard for the 11 years that I owned her. Custom ordered from the factory by and old farmer with the iron block 5.3 and 4.10 gears. Could pull anything, but couldn't pass a gas station. Upgraded to Lucifer, 2021 6.2L Trailboss LT. Miss the old girl, but love the new ride.

I traded in my 22 ZL1. I've driven sports cars my entire life and wanted a truck but never bought one since I couldn't park it the garage. I've never been happier with a vehicle. I absolutely love the Trail Boss. I find myself buying things just so I can throw it in the back and bring it home.

Anyone have a link to the letters that go on the tailgate? Are they easy to put on?

Just wondering what everyone had before the Trail Boss?
I traded in a 2021 jeep gladiator. I lifted it 3.5" put 35s on it. Needed better towing for my camper.

I have nothing against it at all, you can sometimes come out ahead doing it depending on the situation, but I can honestly say I have never traded in a vehicle before. Once the vehicle is paid off, it starts making me money. As such, I tend to try and pay them off quickly, maintain them to the best of my ability, and get the most out of them.

I keep my vehicles until around 200k miles, which is usually 6-8 years meaning they are always paid off, and then give them to the kids if they want them. If not, I sell them and and the money goes into my "I need a new tool or toy" fund :).
