What did you trade in for the Trail Boss?

'24 Colorado ZR2. A wonderful vehicle but for some things it proved a bit too small. My off-roading needs don't require ZR2 superpowers.

2018 Colorado w/ 2" lift and ZR2 wheels with 265/70/18" tires. Great truck, but I wanted to go bigger and now have the space. Replaced with 2026 2500HD Trail Boss gas.

2014 F-150 XLT that had 248K miles on it and was still running great. In those 248K miles, I changed a water pump and a starter outside of regular maintenance. I switched to the Chevy specifically for the baby diesel.

That is great! I am trying not to be negative here, but I surely hope I can get that amount of mileage out of my rig and still strong! Damn, I would not have traded that F150!

It was a difficult decision to do so - there was no rust on the body also. I got $5,200 on trade and wasn't sure when something catastrophic was going to happen. I am also a single dad which means no back up car if it does.

Wow! That is a good amount for such a high mileage vehicle! Hell, with all the damn computerized electronic BS in vehicles now, we will be lucky to have only minor issues like your last F150. Fingers
