What did you trade in for the Trail Boss?

Well, we're talking trade-in, so the cost new of TWICE what my truck cost brand new isn't the issue. (TRX is not twice as much truck)

But the TRX is SIXTEEN HUNDRED pounds heavier than my Trail Boss (30% ! heavier). For off road use, not so awesome.

I can relate.... I traded in my '23 Raptor on a '24 4Runner.

I gotcha. Wow, that is a huge weight difference!
 
It seems like these trucks have a lot of problems. But in reality, most don't. 99% of new vehicle owners don't get on Forums to discuss all the problems their vehicles DON'T have.

The manufacturer has produced many millions of these T1 trucks. They are very popular, and a very good value. Even here in wacky Boulder, Colorado we see a whole lot of them.
 
Just wondering what everyone had before the Trail Boss?
'15 LTZ with 195k on it. Issues were becoming more frequent and expensive. Got $10k trade on it for my '19 Custom TB in 09/23. Recently noticed TB prices lower than when i bought, too. An LT TB with fewer miles is $5-7k less!!!!!! 😒
 
Traded a 2017 Silverado LT North Edition, was a nice ride, low miles. Wanted my first new truck.

2020 Silverado 1500 LT 3.0 Duramax, Had it 95000 miles. Only two issues were a blown main seal at 50k miles while towing the boat in the pic on a 800 mile trip ( what a mess ), and a climate control system blower door failure at about 65k miles, GM covered the main seal and most of the blower door repair. FYI if your blower door fails your screwed, its on the firewall and the entire dash has to be removed to fix it.. which is a big deal. I liked the old truck, I love the 25 TrailBoss.

25 Bronco Heritage. Loved it but missed having a pickup and really wanted to try the baby Duramax.
