NOT free. Just checked to make sure, and it's $14.99 a month for the Remote Access plan with the myChevrolet mobile app.

It will then compare your safe driving habits with those of other random Chevrolet drivers. If you are a safe driver, you may be eligible for a safe driver discount on car insurance offered by participating car insurance companies;

I couldn't copy and paste it all,but shows like I said earlier, that it's free. I'm not paying a cent for the free service.

My onstar ran out a month ago, maybe it didn't catch up yet? But I'm just saying that I am not being billed or paying for the mychevroletapp service currently.

I wonder if after the 30 day premium membership runs out, it goes to free basic Onstar, that would explain a lot?

The app is free and basically useless unless you pay the $15 a month to get the remote start, remote unlock and other USEFUL features. All the free part does is allow you to schedule maintenance with your dealer and check recommended maintenance based on your mileage.

I'm not paying $15/month to use this app on my wife's car. She doesn't even have an active OnStar subscription.
