20 inch wheels No level tire size help

Hello all,

I have a refresh Trail Boss with the 20 inch black wheels. I have thoroughly reviewed the threads and found just one person that ran 285/65/20 with no rub and just One person that ran 295/60/20 with no rub. And I found a few thread where Generally 285/60/20 seems to work no problem but I would like a little more height. I have stock 265/60/20 MT now.

Can anyone else confirm that either 285/65/20 or 295/60/20 fit with little to no rub on a trail boss with no lift or level please?

Any help is appreciated so I don’t make a mistake and buy the wrong tires.
I just installed Avix Trailtek 295/60 RT’s on my 2020 Trailboss this morning. Put about 50 miles on them as of now. Anticipated rub on the mud flaps in the front fender wells, so I took them off before having the tires done. It was a heads up move. There would have been rub. I’m still running stock suspension. My level kit hasn’t gotten here yet. Did notice it seems to take more to get her up to speed, whereas before, she was quicker.

Great thread with lots of info. I'm also considering the 275/65/20 or maybe the 285/65/20 as the max. Anyone do the 285/65's with no issue? I am pretty sure they will fit/clear, but may run into rubbing at articulation off-road.
