The only thing you are losing is that amount of travel by raising the lower mount for the spring. That being said, if you're not in need the full travel of the suspension (meaning pretty aggressive off roading), you will just be gaining a more level stance. After running them for a few thousand miles, mine has settled nicely maintaining a very slight rake and road comfort is much better.

yeah just did rear's calmed the truck down a lot. Maybe in the future I'll do the front but definitely helped the bounce and sway

I'm ordering tomorrow, and I have a question. The shop that will be doing the install referenced Bilstein B8 5100, part # 24-293471. However, Shock Surplus shows 24-309516 as the correct shock for the rear. HELP!!

OK. One last question. I understand this would depend on driving conditions... should there be any coil bucket contact, if the strut is set to its highest setting? At 80 years young, I won't be doing any of the wild stuff from years ago. However, I wouldn't want a "thunk" going over a parking lot speed bump.

I did not adjust or touch anything on the truck suspension besides replacing the rears with the 5100's. Stock trail boss specs
