The only thing you are losing is that amount of travel by raising the lower mount for the spring. That being said, if you're not in need the full travel of the suspension (meaning pretty aggressive off roading), you will just be gaining a more level stance. After running them for a few thousand miles, mine has settled nicely maintaining a very slight rake and road comfort is much better.
