Does anyone else not like the hoodscoops??? New '25 TB here (wife's)

Just picked up a new '25 TB 6.2 for the wife. Her '18 LTZ was in the shop at 85k miles needing a new transmission ($7k) so we were in a bit of bind. Wife didn't want to wait for a custom order or an inbound vehicle so our choices were limited in terms of what the dealer had on their lot. She loves it.... so that is all the really matters, but not an ideal spec to my tastes. I talked her into letting me remove the rear decals and I just installed GoRhino RB20 (slim) running boards. My biggest dislike with the truck is 1) the technology overload, and 2) the hood scoop(s). Does the hood scoop come on all new TB's or just on the 6.2? If it was my truck I'd be looking into a hood swap right now but she likes it. We are getting some real snow tomorrow so i'm curious to see how these Goodyear MT's will do in the snow. I was disappointed not to see a 3 peak rating not the sidewall. We've run Duratracs on her last two Silverados with good luck. I've run BFG AT KOs on my Toyotas.View attachment 18719
Does anyone know if the TB scoop is replaceable? Mine has a ding in it.

you can order the scoop, but you cannot delete it without a new hood...and the stick ones are for the standard hoods.

I can understand why some people like the look of the hood scoop which gives an understated aggressive posture to the front end, but it is not for me. I prefer the old hood and would have preferred they offer the scoop as an option given it is purely cosmetic. Then again, I would have also liked them to keep the Northsky Blue color option, but no one from GMC is asking my opinion.

so why not go with an RST, rather than the TB...what did you gain beside crap shocks and black door handles....

Great looking truck! I'm just as impressed with how clean your garage is...lol! I really suggest wrapping your truck with PPF or "Paint Protective Film" to keep it looking the way it does when you bought it. Unfortunately, I didn't and you can see in my profile picture what an angry woman with a key can do to a black Trail Boss.

Was there a reason why she did that? Oh and I love the look of your tires, very aggressive. Oh and I like my hood scoop. It does get in the way but that is good reason to have a forward camera available.

I like the hood scoop but it's purely cosmetic so I can see how some might not like it.
I like the hood scoops as well! I think this is what makes the Trail Boss' stand out!

What about that fiberglass ram air induction scoop
