What's new

How many miles do you have now?

21 LT 5.3l with about 37,000 miles . Bougnt new with 30 miles that was from a dealer swap. Changed oil every 4,000 miles with Mobil 1 and run the pulsar lt to run V8 all the time.

2021- just rolled 30k miles in December. 4 year ownership anniversary in about 5 days. Only issue, both banks of lifters replaced at around 5,500 miles. Hoping they were fixed correctly. No issues since.
unless you had it repaired with a DOD delete cam...it could happen again at any given moment. Just had a 6. in the family...SIEZE a lifter at 80K miles. ran fine, with no noises that morning....a quick stop at he store, restart and went 10 ft.
Total failure as it broke a pushrod, ground up some metal.

21 TB Custom 5.3 and at 86K enjoyable miles. No issues just oil changes and finally got rid of the stock DuraTracs at around 65-70K miles. Still had traction just terribly loud.
Don't ever run Nitto Ridge Grapplers then! Those are loud on the road, but don't care. All tires get loud after they wear though.

2022 Refresh Trail Boss 5.3 (Mexico built)
Purchased in September of 2022
27,621 mi
Only thing to go wrong was an ignition coil. Everything else was two recalls and basic maintenance.

Mine had 4 miles on it, IIRC, purchased new. Now has just under 52,000. Second set of OE tires (Territory). I took it to a dealer for inspections only once. By now all of them in the Denver area are criminally larcenous, so I do all of the maintenance work. This truck does everything better than any previous: hauling firewood, decorative rock, garden soil and lots of rescue/recovery gear. I've done Eight off road recoveries, and this Custom Trim Level is comfortable and practical like the older, simpler ancestor pickups of the past.

Now that the Trail Boss has been out for a few years, I’m curious to how many miles people have put on theirs.
Mine is ‘20 Custom with the 5.3. Almost 44,000 miles and no real issues other than recalls and a new battery. I purchased it as a Certified Pre-owned. Hoping for 100,000 plus.
Got my '19 Custom TB in Sept. 2023 with 53k. Up to 92k now with no major issues to report. It does have the 6spd i don't really like though. She will "snatch" 2nd from 3rd a little if you suddenly punch it. My previous Silverado, a '15 LTZ, had the same 6spd issue and tranny gave out at i think 175k'ish. Otherwise, she a champ! 😁

the shift schedule of the 6 speed (more so internal gearing), has always been garbage !

22 Refresh with the 3.0, I’ve got 53k on it.

Lots of driving for work and wanting to get out and explore on the weekends.
