Leveling kit

I have had the RL 2" on for about 2 years now and have not had any problems at all. I get the tires rotated and re-balanced every 3k miles and the Ridge Grapplers look to be in really good shape at 27k miles. Alignment has stayed perfect.
Would I do the same thing again after learning more about the suspension? No. I would remove the TB factory lift (spacer) and get a true 4" lift kit along with Bilstein shocks. Lots more money but it's the right thing to do IMHO. However nothing wrong with the RL route, it is less expensive and does the job.
Thanks for supplying your opinion and information. I'm just looking to level my TB out after installing FF Matrix bumper and winch. Looking at either the RL 2" or the Bilstein B8 6112 - Suspension Kit.

1.75 Readylift w/Arms
22x10 -10 offset
285/55/22 (34.2")
minor touching of the fender liners, just had to remove the extra brackets and tuck them back a touch

Looks good - thanks for posting,.
What make/model are those rims?

So just to make sure it is recommended to change the UCA's on the RC 1.5" level kit for our TB trucks correct? I just bought the RC level kit and want to make sure if the UCA's are needed before I install.

On the RC site is says the replacement UCA's are not needed...

i am running the Fuel Flux, these are a 22x10 w/ -10mm offset

on the TB and others like this, the truck is already 2" higher than most, by adding the additional lift, the replacement arm just ensures you have adequate angles for the upper balljoints to operate.

some say YES, some say NO...if you plan to USE the rig offroad... I would.

I had the RC 1.5 before I swapped for the ready lift 2.0 … the RC worked just fine zero issues , I just wanted the beefier upper arms and the 2 inches with rear block lift

Went with the RL 2.0 lift with 3” back block replacement. Put Faulken Wildpeak ATW3 285/75 on a factory 18 rim. Rides great and sits higher than I thought. Bottom of step is 18”. Got the clearance I wanted to beach driving.

Lots of bad information out there on TB front end leveling. It's all over the net that you must change your control arms even if you are just going 1.5 or 2 inches to level it. Not true. I had a local off road shop quote me over 1,400.00 bucks to instal that kind of kit. Ironically I found my answer at my dealership. They have a factory approved, aftermarket spacer kit for just north of $500.00 installed including the required front end alignment. Perfect for my needs. YMMV.
How did the spacer hold up? Any issues since you had it installed 2 years ago? Can you still use 4wd auto? Any vibrations if you do use it? That’s my only hesitation for a front leveling kit is the issues using 4wd auto

I’m hesitant as well…RL says you can use auto on the 1.75”, but doesn’t recommend it on the 2”…it seems like a 2” in front and 1” in back would have about the same angles as a 1.75”….
My understanding is you may still use it, but it may tear something up if/when it engages..

I’m interested in the ready lift 1.75” leveling kit for the front, just to level the truck as it is. Not interested in doing anything in back. However, on the ready lift website there is a disclaimer that you shouldn’t use 4wd auto even for the 1.75” leveling kit. I’m sure people have and do use it, perhaps not engaging it while cruising as highway speeds. I hate the factory rake and would love my truck leveled, but not at the expense of compromising the reliability of the truck. Anyone on the forum have the RL 1.75” front leveling kit and use 4wd auto? That’s what I’d be interested in hearing. How it holds up long term and if it damages anything eventually. Thank you everyone in advance. You guys post some great info here, much respect to all. Just joined the forum 3 days ago. Have had my 21 TB almost a year now and love it

My spacer lift installed by the dealer has been great. They said it is a 2" lift that realy delivers about 1.5/1.75 in the real world. Perfect to level it.

They never mentioned anything about a 4wd auto restriction. The best part for me is it was dealer installed. GM can and will mess with your warenty if they don't like your mods. I live in Phoenix with no snow and ice so I don't use 4wd auto. I use 4wd hi and lo on a regular basis and stress them hard.

So I’m researching. 22 TB, looking to put 2” more with the factory lift. BDS really has my attention mainly because they directly address the CV angle issue. But Ready Lift of course is more easy on the budget.

I’d be interested in anyone who’s experienced CV angle issues with a combined 2”+2” lift.
