OEM Battery lifespan?

2019 Custom, with no obvious signs to the original battery I had it tested(showed "bad") and replaced. After shopping I opted for this Odyssey. 850 CCA and 150 min. reserve. As prices go wow they are pricey but NAPA has 20% off. Get this, I was my age old finding out this battery did not have a core charge when I took it in and they checked twice. They offered my $5 !

Been using these batteries in several vehicles for years now my buddy did research and showed me that these are rated for more cold cranking amps than they advertise so far no complaints about these batteries

I am wondering what the lifespan of the original battery is? My truck is roughly 3.5 years old and going into winter so it makes me think about it.

How long did your stock battery last? Or when did you replace it?

Mine lasted less than 3 and was replaced under warranty.

Mine is a 2021 Chevy trail Boss and it's just now starting to give me problems so that would be 6 years old mine lasted but my truck's only got 38,000 mi on it but good old Northwest Indiana weather

I kust replaced the original battery in my '21 with 62k miles. Lasted way longer than expected.

Replaced the AC Delco original this morning. Made it 6 years, 7 months and still starts the truck but didn't have the reserves anymore to run my winch confidently for longer durations. Optima Yellow DH7 is what I put in. Gives me the confidence to run winch, lights and 1000w inverter for air compressor and the blender!!!
