Bummer. Mine is still holding onto settings. Must be a difference in software revs. I've been a technician for almost 30 years (not automotive), working with all kinds of equipment that runs firmware/software, and the one thing that is consistent is: manufacturers make a product and leave it to the end user to figure out where the bugs are and then correct it later. Some companies are better than others, but very few do THOROUGH pre-release testing. It's unfortunate, but I've also made my living chasing these flaws out of equipment. I'm sure there will be a release from GM that acknowledges this flaw and a fix at some point. At least it's not like my new Toyota that was destined to leave me on the side of the road due to a failed fuel pump (of which they have zero to replace it with due to global Denso shortage)

Looks like I found the solution. I did a full factory re-set of the radio and everything has been saved now for a couple days.
Did both the "reset vehicle settings" and the "erase settings and personal data"
Was quick and easy to do. Setting up everything again wasn't a big deal.

All the radio and phone settings. Think of it like getting another brand new truck !!

Ok just tried again. One last shot before Chevy comes up with a new software update. 3:30pm reset both settings.

It actually has worked for me and everyone else that has done the full reset.

quick update.. I did the full reset yesterday at 3:30pm. Then parked it. This morning 9:00am. Still holding memory on eq settings and volume. Thank you Midnight 21.

I just did the reset as well. I've only had my truck for a week but noticed it the first day. Guess I'll see tomorrow morning if it worked.
