What's new

What did you do to your HD Trailboss today? 🛠️

Added this to my 2022 ltd T.B. LT. for wireless car play. Works well.

That is a beautiful rig! There is something about that color, subtle but somehow dramatic at the same time. Is that your first scratches on the lower left bumper or just dirt on the air dam? First one hurts the most. But I am 4 years past that!

I appreciate that. No major scratches as of yet, I think that’s just the way the water is drying plus the harsh light on that side plus still some residual bug residue. Just a quick car wash trip.

I really like the color as well, just the difference between shadow side and sun side. Slightly different depending on the time of day. Adequate name, cypress gray, if you think of the moss hanging from cypress trees down south.

Did my first modification to my brand new 25 Silverado 2500HD Trailboss that I bought on Wednesday!!! It is the 6.6 gas in Sterling Gray Metallic.

Swapped out the GM tube steps for the GM high clearance steps. Added a tonneau cover and a stubby radio antenna.

I will try to get a few pictures tomorrow.

Well didn't get a picture today. Was raining most of the day.

But I did remove the front license plate holder. Looks much cleaner.

Dealer asked if wanted it installed or not. Since Wisconsin says we need one I had them install it. But today I changed my mind and removed it. At least the holes are hidden. Now if the law gives me a hard time I can reinstall it easy because the holes are already there.

Added splash guards and tailgate lettering.

I put Fox 2.0 shocks on the rear. I won't get the fronts till Wednesday.

And will be putting a fox front steering stabilier on tomorrow or monday.

Update us on the ride. I’m curious if you notice anything out back with the heavy payload springs?

I put the front Fox 2.0 shocks on this morning. So now I have Fox 2.0 front/rear and stabilizer.

Rides much better. Still rides like a 2500 but they smoothed out ride. The stock Ranchos were too bouncy.

Tomorrow I will be driving a road that will really tell me how the shocks are.

Clean. Peel. Stick. Press.

Almost went with gold as a nod to the OG bow-tie, but I’m a sucker for orange.
