Like the intimidation! LOL! Had that a few moths ago next to a Smart car at a light!
 
Added a phone mount. I like having my phone displayed when I drive and this spot seemed like a natural spot for it.

Tell us about your modifications, upgrades, repairs and customizations!
So far I’ve put in a K&N filter and Flowmaster muffler. I added foot rails but they need to go. They were for the wife to get in but she has a car now so… haha
Seems better to take them off than to tear them off on the trail.
Added a Softopper that I really like. Beats sleeping in a tent.
Still want to lift it enough to get 35s on her.
 
As far as 35" tires, I would read through what others have done on here. Being in California you have a more options my deleting and cutting away materials, I would suggest leveling it out in the front and do the upper control arms to match. It would make it easier IMO.

Tuesday I had the Ready Lift 1.75" Leveling Kit installed. Today I had Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 295/70R18 tires mounted on my stock wheels. Plus 2" wheel spacers.

I would like to avoid any trimming if possible.

I like it. What kind of lift is it. Not the brand but the mechanism? I had a tension bar leveler on my 3500 and it felt bouncy.
 
Ordered some Duratracs in 285/75r18 today. I know they get noisy, but data shows they're 35.1" and tied for the lightest weight tire I could find. Due to being cheaper than the other tires that were the same size and weight (both criteria had to be fulfilled) I went with them. Under $1,200 for both. Will be ordering the ReadyLift 2" kit very soon. Seems backwards, but I promise it isn't. Tires will sit in the garage until the kit is installed. Just waiting for 50k miles on the odometer to do everything. At that mileage the lift kit gets installed and the tires too. I spoke to Readylift regarding this tire size and clearing the new UCA. They recommended wheel spacers that are ¼"-½". I went with ½" just to be safe. Hopefully that's small enough to avoid rubbing.

I am considering buying a replica 18" OE wheel and a 5th tire to keep as a spare and run the 5 tire rotation instead of the 4 tire rotation. I have several thousand miles to figure it out before the first tire rotation.

Should I get the Pulsar LT or the RC speedometer calibrator? I'm not looking to shutoff the auto start/stop, cylinder deactivation, etc. Only looking to correct the speedo.

I have the RC Speedo calibrator and it's easy to use and tucks out of the way. Plugs inline with one of the BCM modules under the driver side dash. You can tuck it behind the drivers side foot well panel. You hook it up to your computer and enter the stock tire size and new tire size and save the configuration. Then just plug it into the truck. If you ever change tire size, just pull it out, plug back to your computer and enter the new size. Cheaper and less complex and problematic than the Pulsar. If you have to deal with emissions testing, the Pulsar has to be uninstalled or it will fail emissions because it blocks some of the stuff the emissions testing tries to communicate with.

It's a strut spacer kit (top and bottom), with new upper control arms. Rides like factory.

Why 50,000mi?
2 reasons: 1) That's the life of the original Duratracs the truck came with, and 2) because I'm OCD and can't justify getting rid of tires that aren't used up. I have less than 1,000 miles to go to get to 50,000 miles so this'll happen soon.

Thanks. I'm aware of the Pulsar's shortcomings, but didn't know if the RC one had similar issues due to lack of info out there about it. Emissions is an interesting issue for me due to the wife being military. Unplugging the Pulsar doesn't appear to be a big issue, but not having to deal with it at all is preferred.
