What did you do to your Trailboss today? 🛠️

Thank you sir. I’ve been lurking since I bought the truck. I hold all of ya’ll responsible for emptying my piggy bank on a monthly basis.

If it wasn't us it would be your wife. Difference is we aren't the ones taking it and using it for ourselves.

I add the Pulsar LT, and all I can say so far driving the truck, it was a difference. I noticed so many changes I can make, after install and configuration, It fells like the truck drives like it should. The DFM/AFM whatever turned off felt like the engine performed like a true V8, it just my observation take as you will. I was able to calibrate my speed odometer to the tire change I did, and turned off the auto start/stop, which was so pleasant to have. I adjusted the top speed which was nice to do if needed. The on demand throttle response is so nice to have and can change the settings at any time. At level 5 setting WOW! It was to much! I will continue to play with that feature but at 2-3 setting seems to be a sweet spot. So fare i am pleased and hope no issued come of it.

I’ll say the wife is a good sport. Although when she saw the truck yesterday after the leveling kit was installed, she said “I think I can see a difference, maybe?”

Girls can always tell the difference of a few inches. The real question is does she like the ride?

Washed and hit it with 303 graphene. Seems to be the latest fad in detailing. Can’t really tell a difference from other similar products. Also installed a K & N catch can

It stopped raining today, and won't rain for a few days, so I decided to try to finish the ARB air compressor install. It's at a point where it's fighting me every step of the way. I have 3 of the 8 screws used to mount the compressor to its mounting plate installed. The switch box I created is now fighting me, too. Once I get those 2 things taken care of it'll be done. Hopefully I can finish it up tomorrow.

Have you tried backing the three out a little ways to get you some wiggle room to start the other five?

The issue is a lack of space for my hands and tools. Backing off the screws won't help. I didn't tighten them until I decided to stop for the night and go in to cook dinner. First thing I will do is loosen them for the very point your making. One thing I'm going to try is attaching magnets to my hand tools so the screws stay with them when gravity says they shouldn't. Fortunately, I have a small box of magnets for this very thing.

Not a lot of cool factor, but something that should have been there from factory already. GM OEM rear wheelhouse liners, part number 85561532.

The Bilstein 6112s I've been waiting for came in this week and I put them on the truck today. Gotta say, this is the way to go. I had a Readylift 1.75" kit on it and was only using the top spacer, not the one under the shock, and my truck was perfectly level. Removed the spacers and now with the Bilsteins set on the tallest notch the truck is at exactly the same height and still perfectly level. So now I can use the factory top mounting nuts with full engagement instead of those tiny nuts that come with the Resdylift kit. Also, now there's no more excessive droop when jacking up the front of the truck.
The ride is much improved. Much more stable around turns and no more bouncy feeling over sharp bumps, and not any more harsh than the factory ride. So for anyone looking to level their Trailboss I highly recommend these coil overs. Great fit, better springs, better shocks, and a leveling kit with no wonky spacers all in one package. However, you'll still need to replace the upper control arms for safety.
Just had mine delivered. Can’t wait to install them this week!
Are you running anything in the rear or did you stick with the ranchos in the rear? I’m currently running the 5100s in the rear and could tell a big difference even with keeping the ranchos in the front. Excited to see how much more 6112s will change the ride.

Just got a call. Some wheel spacers I bought several months back didn't fit inside the wheel. I took them to a machinist last week. They said they're ready for pickup. 1 step closer to getting the ReadyLift 2" kit installed.
