What's new

What did you do to your Trailboss today? 🛠️

I found matte black badging online(w/ 3M tape) for decent price. best part, tape around old badges clean and replace !
I used PlastiDip for the 1st time on my tailgate Silverado and LT emblems over a year ago. Cheap and easy and still looks great a year later.

Here’s the Readylift 1.75 minus the bottom spacer. (Just the UCA and the top puck) It’s perfect for me. View attachment 2636View attachment 2637
What made you not use the lower spacer? How much difference did that make over the full kit on height. Do you have any idea how much higher the front of the roof raised? I want to do this although I would still like to park in my garage and its really close now without it.

My TB doesn’t fit in my garage.
I have the ReadyLift 69-3920 2” kit. I also added 295/75 tires on stock 18” wheels whichs adds a little over an inch. So the roof of my truck is about 80in. The roof “fin” adds an inch or 2 also.
The avg garage door opening is about 84in high but is actually much lower depending on the type of door and lift mechanism.

I didn’t want the front to be higher than the back. Mine was about 1.5 lower in the front before the Readylift. I figured that omitting the lower spacer would make it about where I wanted it. My measurements aren’t scientific but close…that being said I’m about 1/4 lower in the front now. As for raising the roof my tolerances are tight but I can still fit into my 7’ basement garage. Probably have 2 inches to spare. Nothing rubs.

I had the same ready lift installed as Wakinvol and left out the bottom spacer too! Just didn't want the front end higher than the back at all.

Hey all! New to the site and to the Trail boss world. Ive had my 22 Boss for approx 1 month now. Coming from an 06 lifted Duramax, to a TB was like stepping down.....not!! Only appearance wise. Once inside I was pleasantly surprised at how similar the ride was to an HD. The height can be fix, and will be. Love seeing everyones mods, gives me a few more things to add to an already long list of "would love to haves"!!
Only 1 problem.....y'all gonna get my ass kicked from my wife!!!
Anyhow since taking ownership I have done the following mods......and thanks to you....more to come:
All armrest swapped out
Center Stack bezel swapped out
Overhead console w/factory garage door opener
Rear wheel liners
Curt trailer brake control
Silverado sport side steps
Kicker full audio upgrade
Truxedo ProX tonneau cover
Next on the list is to get the truck up in the air where, I think, it should be...
Thanx for all the knowledge, tips and tricks you share.

I installed my Marathon Seat Covers. Love 'em! I was a little hesitant to order these, since I read some poor reviews, but looking closer at the reviews, most of those customers readily admit that they ignored the guidance from the manufacturer.

These fit great, the install was simple, and they feel durable as hell. Winning.

Today I replaced the Bed Rail Guards with a new set because I pulled the OEM Sports Bar off this weekend. That left the original rails with the stake bed pocket covers cut out and some drilled holes for access to bolting points for the Sports bar.

Also, I did the Lasfit LED replacements and I can't endorse them enough. Such a simple change, front and back, and it makes a huge difference. The light when backing up at night is awesome. Those images and videos are all over the web so I'll skip any before and afters on the LED change.

Had this...

And these are the take off rails with the drill holes in them...
