Which level kit

i had hear FOX was releasing a 3-3.5" 2.0 version for the 1500ish price point. so far all i can find is the kit offered that is a 2" 2.0 WITH a lower spacer from FOX and a 2" rear block.

Burt, that does show anyone looking, that a FOX is compatible with a spacer. Some coil overs can come in contact with the upper arms at droop...another reason to run after market
Do you have a link to the Fox kit with the spacer? The only one I could find was through Cognito and their own upper hat/spacer.

Thanks. Didn't realize it was a ShockSurplus kit.

While the Fox shocks are nice, I think I will eventually go with Dirt King's 2.0 coilovers and their UCAs. Based on how they are valved, they seem like a better option. Some reviews on the Fox 2.0 when replacing the TB suspension are not spectacular. Eibach was a front-runner but they don't offer a 1" level (3" overall lift) for the Trail Boss.

i am looking haevily at the DirtKings....they were not offered when i order all my Arms, so i did the Fox 2.5

i would like to give the DK's a try, but i may just shoot the FOX's to Accutune

From what I could find out, the DKs are Progressively valved and use a 650 lb spring. The Fox's are Linear with a 500 lb spring. This for for both 2.0 versions.

I believe the DKs also use a longer shock body to facilitate the lift (in additional to preload) which provides some increased wheel travel when paired with their new arms. I just need to make sure the UCAs will work with the factory 20" wheels.

with having the 2.5, these are longer bodied (the 3.0 version has 1/2" less travel due to top hat design). at full droop right now, i have 1/4" to the droop stops. once i do the lower arm (been on the bench for months), i will remeasure and most likely add a strap.

the 2.5 i have looks to have a 550lb spring, and with the DSC adjusters, i can make them whatever i feel

What exact shocks are you running?
in that post, it was the stock ranchos with the RL 1.75 level

in the later posts and currently, i am running the Fox 2.5 with DSC adjusters, set at 3.5" with the lower RL spacer....total of 3.75' FRONT / 2" REAR (STOCK)

What is the preferred level kit for the trail boss? I’ve been looking at the ready lift 1.75 level, and the ready lift sst 2 inch. What’s the difference really and is one better than the other?
I have the 2" lift and i like the way it sits. Hardly any rake

and nothing about that in the actual ad....but i will say, depending on hat design and lower spacer thickness...it could move assembly to a position where the body contacts the axle shaft.

I decided on going with Bilstein 6112 (set at max height 1.2”)/5160 combo and definitely night and day difference over the Ranchos. Also went with Rough Country’s UCA. Ride is so much smoother.
