You don't use Apple Car Play or Android Auto? Both of those will read your text messages for you.I canceled everything except XM. I keep XM for the hard Rock stations.
The only thing is it won't read my Text messages now. The cheapest car/truck on the market will do this without Data.

Greed is why it doesn't work. I pay for unlimited data on my phone plan and I shouldn't have to purchase data from GM. This subscription crap is going to get worse as new vehicle's are produced.Yeah, I miss the GM built in "Assistant" too. I have Onstar & pay maybe 15 bucks for the unlimited dataHello all,
My 2022 TB is 3 mos. old. As such, I'm set to lose Serius XM and Onstar, unless I subscribe and pay.
I can live w/out Serius XM.
But what features from Onstar 'interact' with the vehicle, if any? What can't I do without having Onstar?
Bottom line, is it worth it?
Thanks
