Anyone mounted these? I like the price, look and design. Wish it didn't have some stupid name on the step and wish even more it was Made in the USA, but it's ChiCom... Looks durable and attractive. Whatcha think?

Your truck is beautiful. The picture you have posted of it backed in is actually one I have used on my idea board for this build.

This one's just a Custom,. Kinda wish it was an LT. But it isn't.

I drove a work car occasionally with super dark tint back when I worked in LE. Hated it. I never felt like I could see enough, especially at night. I think I'd like to go 35% on the front sides, 50% on the rear sides and 50% on the rear window. Thinking about an eyebrow up front. I have one on my G35 now and like it. I think those tint numbers will be enough to get a good blacked-out look.

Thanks , this truck is 20% rear doors and rear glass with the slider, 35% front doors and 50% full windshield. Not sure if im gonna do it yet but I could get away with 5% on everything except the windshield only because it has the surround hd vision and plenty of other cameras. Literally 3 weeks ago I realized what "lane assist" is. I always thought it just lit up the markers on the mirrors if a car was comin up beside me but no there's a forward facing camera in the top center of the windshield that keeps the truck between the lines on the highway . Very cool. I plan on lifting it and gettin a nice set of rims and tires and giving it a strong stance, but still studying up on all that. I'll attach a pic of a guys truck on here who really has a sharp lift and tire set up that I'd love to go with.

That does look great, but I can't have anything offset so the tire is outside th e fender/flares. I am really hoping to get back into LE and arriving at your work PD in a truck with illegal tires... well that won't work too well...

I saw he has put on fender flares since that post. Sorry what is LE ..PD... Police ? If so yeah that could be a problem for ya..

Apply to a big city department or federal agency that is too busy with real crime. They don’t care about minor chicken shit vehicle infractions. That’s what I did after the army. It’s a win win situation.

FYI those are Rough Country SF1 flares. I have them on my truck.

So here's a question for ya. I asked a dealer for the build sheet of my project truck by VIN (attached). It says regarding the engine both:

L82 - ENGINE: 5.3L ECOTEC3 V8 WITH ACTIVE FUEL MANAGEMENT
YK9 - CREDIT-NOT EQUIPPED WITH ACTIVE FUEL MANAGEMENT

Am I to assume with a build date of 5/20/21 that it DOES NOT have AFM? See attached bulletin.

I have the same type of info on my window sticker. One says equipped with steering wheel lock and then immediately after that it says $50 credit for no steering lock.

Your exhaust setup no matter what you choose is going to be sweet without the DFM ruining it… that’s a win for sure.
