What's new

What did you do to your Trailboss today? 🛠️

Just getting started on mine. Tuesday I had some AMP steps installed. Last night I installed an under seat safe. I'm hoping to install the console safe soon along with a bed liner.

Ordered a J&L catch can for the brand new motor in the TB.
For those of you who don't know, i bought my truck with 47000 on it and the engine let go at 52000. Dealer replaced engine and cooling assm/lines per TSB issued by chevrolet. When I picked up the vehicle, the dealer allowed me to inspect the damage. Found delamination in the the cam bearings, cavitation in the Mains, and damage to the con rods.
Take a look in the lifter bores and found the lock out pin on my lifter scored the bore, and started the failure.
Needless to say, when I picked up the truck i drove it a mile down the road and installed a pulsar with CTS3 to monitor oil pressure and temps.

That's my story as to what lead me here lol.

BUT now i am currently knocking around the idea of suspension upgrades. FUN STUFF!

Yes looking into the larger under rear seat one for rifles
I spent most of today covering the under seat safe in carpet.
If you get the factory stuff it's $30+ per foot. I bought some stuff from O'Reilly's for $12 per 3 feet. Looks great and I think it seals better than factory.

Just ordered the AWE cat back exhaust with black quad tips for my 2020 TB …looks to be a straight forward install… the borla type S muffler swap has served well the last 4 years but that drone at low speeds and the mesh beer can cover's held with hose clamps needs to be cleaned up…

Got a bit done this weekend. Added some fender flares and a bed liner.

I need to paint the flares. But I can't afford it just yet. Luckily these are bolt on so I can pull them off and get them painted. I'm thinking gloss black like the hood cowling.

I picked a drop in liner over a spray in. My last truck had a spray in and had several permanent dents through the liner. I'm hoping this will prevent that from happening.

i run the Borla S-type, TRUE DUAL....very impressed. Zero drone, great tones...and looks killer ( i did polish the entire system before installing)
