I finally made my truck sound like a V8
Installed an AFE Apollo GT muffler.
I also clamped open the flapper and taped over the resonators.
I'm super happy with it. Deep throaty growl, no drone whatsoever, quiet on highway.
All for $193

Got a bit done this weekend. Added some fender flares and a bed liner.

I need to paint the flares. But I can't afford it just yet. Luckily these are bolt on so I can pull them off and get them painted. I'm thinking gloss black like the hood cowling.

I picked a drop in liner over a spray in. My last truck had a spray in and had several permanent dents through the liner. I'm hoping this will prevent that from happening.

Great timing! I spent a few hours this weekend looking heavily at these. What brackets did you go with and how did you mount the switch?

I'm curious which brackets and wiring harness as well.

So I installed the Tyger under seat storage - I have a 24 trail boss with the rubber factory floor mats which required just a bit of trimming to make it work - not a big deal. Then I threw some of the tear away foam in the bottom. Attached is a horrible pic took in my garage - I’ll update with a better pic in a few days - bout to hit the road for a Prescott AZ 4th of July weekend.

So I installed the Tyger under seat storage - I have a 24 trail boss with the rubber factory floor mats which required just a bit of trimming to make it work - not a big deal. Then I threw some of the tear away foam in the bottom. Attached is a horrible pic took in my garage - I’ll update with a better pic in a few days - bout to hit the road for a Prescott AZ 4th of July weekend.

Hey AZ Trail Boss, Enjoy Prescott. You going to the rodeo? I have family up there. The wife and I are going up to Heber Overgaard to a friends cabin. Might do some trout fishing on the rim lakes. Smal town 4th of July stuff on Saturday, parade, beer, music, and food in the park afterwards. Then fireworks. Im a small town guy trapped in the big city for far to long so I love that stuff.

Hows the sound in the cab?

I have this kit but worried it might be too loud. I currently just have the flapper pinned open.

it's not loud in the cab at all. I am very happy with this set up. It does have a little bark on cold start up but I like that, it then settles down to a nice mellow rumble. I can barely hear it in cab unless i step on it, even then its not too loud at all. On the highway i can't even hear it again unless im stepping on it. It's definitely not too loud at all
