What's new

What did you do to your Trailboss today? 🛠️

How’s that new mass flow air sensor working out ..: any noticeable improvement?
Going from stock intake with stock mass airflow sensor to current has a definite noticeable difference. But can’t say that just from the new sensor or intake alone. I’m sure they are working great together.

here is a channel, with some decent video content.

Yea this guys is great. One of the reasons why I ended up pulling the trigger. Guy really spent a lot of time especially with putting things back on with each dyno pull.

Catching up a bit. Added the RC hard folding bed cover at the beginning of the month. Got the new 295/70r18 KO3s on the truck the day before the snow rolled in. Finally found time to install the Pulsar over the weekend. With the new tires and Pulsar level 3 it feels like a whole new truck.

Same here. One thing I noticed, my trans seems to shift a little smoother. Especially the down shift.

This is from Wednesday. And not altogether "did to my TB" as what I did with it.

Another load of firewood, before the cold weather. My gear mounts and hangers are not damaged when they dump 900 lbs/third-of-cord into the bed with a Bucket Loader.

Recent loadout of Recovery Gear no longer includes the heavy and dangerous Hi-Lift farmer's jack. That thing is just not used enough to justify taking it. I have ordered a Bottle Jack/Jackstand combination for off road needs.

And gear back in, including tire chains for all 4 wheels, 10 Soft Shackles, 3 Winch Rings, 2 Tow Points, etc.

I have the same type bottle jack/jack stand combo. I think mine is Big Red brand though. Bought it at the local farm store. I need to buy a big enough case for it so it's not going to fly around in the bed. I need to measure it. I think I found one big enough for about $16 at Menards (midwest home improvement chain).
Also been thinking between a rubber mat or just the BedRug mat and tailgate cover. I have the factory spray in liner, but it's hard on the knees and stuff slides around easily.

This is the third Chevy truck that I have put a Bed Rug in. And climbing around in the bed is still hard on the knees.
Everything needs to be tied down, or at least have a lanyard strap used. Recoveries always involve very rough roads/trails. Stuff just gets thrown around, because we're always in a hurry to get to the stranded motorist.

I'll have to figure out how to secure the new Jack in a way similar to the Winch, maybe. Or, there is a regular jackstand in the yellow tub, so I could carry the new one there instead.

It has taken a year to figure out the best way to tie down the Winch. The piece of plywood visible is so that the winch doesn't tear holes in the Bed Rug.

Upgraded the lights on the OEM tow mirrors to the Boost Auto ones. Much better LEDs. They are brighter, solid light instead of individual LEDs. Also replaced the mirror glass to incorporate the turn signal indicator on the glass side which is a nice addition along with replace the bottom mirror glass and gain defrost on that portion. All in all an easy and nice upgrade.

I have the Diamondback cover and I have these and really like them. Might work with other covers or setups. Keeps everything together and very accessible. Just a thought.
