What is the best oil to use in 2020 Trailboss or does it really matter???

I know the Trailboss is supposed to use dexos 0w-20 full synthetic oil but does the brand really matter? Ive read that to meet the dexos requirement which allows them to stamp it on their bottles that the manufacture has to meet alot of guidelines to be approved. Atwoods has Harvest King for cheap, Mobile 1, AC Delco, Amsoil all higher but does it matter as long as it has the dexos stamp? Just curiosity really.
If you have more than one engine replacement under warranty they will ask for your oil change documentation. Make sure it's certified dexos and the right weight. Also my dealership told me wix oil filters causes engine failure. I'm on my third 6.2 in 20k miles

I run Amsoil 0-20 and only put premium fuel in my truck.

I watched some old guy on YouTube dump 10 quarts of 5w30 into his 2020 Silverado 6.2 during his oil change tutorial lol.
Will probably run perfectly for 200K miles🤣

it probably needs the xtra 2 quarts with his 3/4 race cam.

Im in the Costco/kirkland camp. it checks all the dexos boxes and it's one of the most affordable options out there. project farm on YouTube did an analysis and seems fine to me. My truck is still less than 10k miles, so only one oil change so far.

Amazon delivers their rebranded 0w-20 Dexos1 Gen3 stamped oil to my door for less than $5.50/Qt and I get an AC Delco PF1218 OE oil filter for $5.35 at the same time (Amazon again). Timely oil changes with the right oil are important, as is proper documentation of said work. I keep a log book with receipts/box tops, dates and any work completed. Goes a long way if something ever fails.

I saw fuel mentioned too so I'll drop my $0.02... in another lifetime I was a trained GM Technician (30 years ago...). Octane rating is basically a fuel's ability not to burn until ignited by the spark plug. detonation of the fuel causes knock, which is the exploding gasses expanding into the piston while it is still on the way up. Bad. Modern engines have knock sensors that will make the ECM back out the ignition timing when detonation is sensed. Anything modern that is not Turbo/Blown/High compression can be run on lower octane rated fuels. Anything Turbo/Blown/HC I would recommend higher octane rated fuel. If your ECM is constantly backing out the timing because you're running low octane fuel, you're leaving power on the table! Ethanol absorbs water out of the atmosphere so if your vehicle is not specifically designed to run on E fuels, be advised, the moisture can cause corrosion and problems in the fuel system, injectors and so on.

I run my 5.3 on 87 octane Chevron/Shell/76 etc. with as little ethanol as possible (my truck is not E85 compatible) and I use a high quality fuel system additive every 1k miles or so. There are many good brands out there but I choose Redline.
