my 23, hits the 112 ish point in a hurry and is still climbing in power. i would love to see it top end, as well as a dyno run.

i may have to try L9 and see if it limits there as well, sometimes...that is a work around

Not knocking, but serious question. Why does anyone want to go that fast in a truck? I got mine not to go fast, but use it as a truck and have some fun off road. Speed and trucks not built for that seem like disaster waiting to happen. Be safe.

Absolutely agree. Example - 100mph on-road in a Trail Boss is not remotely fun to me. Just not interested....don't get it at all. 50-60mph on a dirt trail? Yeah that'd be fun...which is why I got the Trail Boss and not the RST.

Pretty sure this is a big part of it. The 98mph rating corresponds to the stock tires im pretty sure. In fact I think the limiter is set to 112 on RST's that come with a different tire.

I did remove mine when I installed the Pulsar. not for any reason in particular, but it's a feature of module, so might as well. I have a liter bike if I wanted to go over 98mph.

I test drove a Ninja 1000 before I bought my Gixxer 750, on these things it's just starting to get warmed up at 98mph! Mine will do 88-90 in first gear and yours is probably a little higher unless yours redlines sooner.

hows the ride at those speeds on dirt roads ? i plan to, but after i get the suspension squared away...the stockers would not cut it

In the TB? Dunno, haven't tried it yet. My Tahoe did great though with 33's and Rancho RS9000's. I mean, it was rough, but that's the way it's supposed to be.

A few years ago well stopping to visit my sister in rural Northern Minnesota, her 2 pit bulls got a hold of my black lab and did some serious damage to him no cell service for 20 miles almost then called 911 to see were the closet emergency vet was and it was 50 miles away. Well glad my 2017 Silverado was able to do 115 mph did it the whole way there and the vet said got there just in the nick of time before my poor boy would of bleed out Sometimes you do need all that speed and just wanted to share.

Oh I get it - I'm not a dog person but I understand, and I simply look at it the same way as if I were in that situation with one of my kids - but the reality is the same...yeah you want to get there fast...but you want to make sure you get there. Full send generally isn't the best approach for these situations...you risk wrecking your vehicle which would be far worse than getting there 5 minutes later.

It's tough to keep a cool head in a situation like that, but a patience and a cool head is what always saves the day.

It's not a matter of keeping a cool head. It's a matter of seconds, not minutes. That's why EMS has lights and sirens to go fast.
