Ready lift 2” and Bilstein 5100

Post a pic of how your truck sits, is it level with the 1” block in the back that the 2” readylift kit comes with? How are the cv angles at that height

So the 2” plus the 1.1”?
No, I put the ready lift 1.75” and the shock at max 1.1”. But I yielded the 2” to make it a 4”. I felt it was a better option than having the rancho maxed out with the already terrible ride. So basically I was putting an extended shock for the lift I was desiring. I have the 5160 in the rear which fits a 1-3” of lift setup. I put the 3” blocks in the rear since I have all the extra weight due to a decked system and RTT. I didn’t want the truck squatting. I’ve also added the sumo springs in the rear which take place of the bump stops and are progressive. So they don’t bottom out on the rough terrain. I also have the adjustable super springs in the rear to keep the truck level with all my gear when overlanding. It keeps it perfectly level and rides great compared to the cheap ranchos.

Here's the lift for front and back. The truck sits very level with all the overlanding gear on the truck. I also still have 1 more adjustment left in the rear if needed. Plus I have a decked system in the bed with tools and gear when needed.

Those CVs angles don't look good. 2 inches on top of the factory 2 is a big front lift. What's the experience using the AWD mode or any other issues?

I’m worried about the 4wd auto with the ready lift kit.
ReadyLift website and customer support will tell you not to us 4WD auto. I've just left my in 2WD and flip the switch to 4WD (Hi/Lo) when needed. Works fine. No issues. I just didn't see a need in testing the auto...I don't want to find out they were right by breaking something!

I put this exact kit on my truck w/Bilstien 5100s. The Rancho shocks are just garbage (IMO) the truck rode like a SUV before, bouncing up and down after every bump. After putting on the kit, new UCAs and 5100s....it handles like a dream; so much better than factory.

I didn't like them either and after hauling all my gear off-road I was nose high. I did reinstall the Bilstein's at the lower setting and it drives and rides much better.

Sorry for the dumb question, but can you explain what you mean by "..I yielded the 2" to make it a 4"?
I had the Ready Lift 1.75 kit installed on my TB with stock Ranchos, and just took it in to have 5100's installed all around. The guy at the shop removed the bottom spacer, leaving only the top hat spacer and set the front shocks to the second setting (.55"). He said he did this in order to get the truck to sit as level as possible. Long story short, it runs like shit. I can feel every bump on the road, and so far, not living up to all the Bilstein hype. After reading your post, I'm thinking they installed them wrong. Any advice here is appreciated.

in most cases, there is no WRONG install...a spacer is a spacer.

what could be happening, and in most case of a really harsh ride is the front droop is maxed.
3" droop is what is needed for good on road ride...the TB already takes 2 of that leaving 1" droop...then we all go and level it (lift it and take all of that)...this is the PRIMARY reason an upper control arms is necesary to give you that travel.

if you added lift and have not added upper arms...start there !

here is a very well explained install, disregard the shock used. i currently have the 2.5 Elite with DSC adjusters...super plush ride
