Running board recommendations

Same ones I have. I'm "only" 6'2", and I do use them. I'm also a rather large lad, and they appear to handle my abuse without issue. They were my absolute first choice.

Go with the Rhino D6. Rock slider rail type running boards with just enough width to make them useful to get in the cab.

GoRhino D6- seem sturdy & like that they don’t hang down much- quick install about 1 hour.
Really like the look of these. How high would you guess the step is off the ground? Wondering if it's low enough for my wife and kids. Also, has anyone had any issues with steel ones rusting? I live in the south so no snow/salt. I'd imagine they should hold up pretty well.

The height in my opinion is perfect. The wife and my two girls have no complaints about getting in/out anymore. They provide enough footing area & combined with the grab handles from factory, allow much easier entry. Cannot speak to rust issues yet, mine have only been through 3 months of salt/brine (pretty heavily used here). From my dealings with this manufacturer I believe rust will NOT be an issue, and if it would be they would stand behind them.

I just ordered these from Chassis unlimited, I also ordered the Octane front bumper from them.. The steps can be easily taken off for more ground clearance when I go on my off road trips…

Just ordered them. For anyone else looking, the 2019-2022 Silverado ones are on Amazon for $585 right now. I double checked the actual part # vs what was on Go Rhino's website. That's cheaper than direct from Go Rhino including the 12% off coupon code.

Got the D6 's installed today. Overall they seem pretty nice. The end cap construction wasn't the greatest though. Hopefully no rust issues down the road.

, got some snow and ground clearance too. If you come to southern CO will sell the removed versions for $500/OBO. Like new.

Big difference

Big difference in snow with just a few inches of clearance here and it stops mud and snow sprays. Tubes still for sale if in CO or Northern NM and you want to meet for the 1 year old tubes reach out!

After a ton of research I definitely wanted boards that would have decent ground clearance, but also offer some protection against door dings and such. I liked the Onine Clutch boards, but found a different version that didnt have many reviews, but looked pretty nice IMO. I reached out to Onine and asked if their 7" tubular bar offered the same ground clearance as their Clutch version, and they said YES same brackets. I installed them last night and was happy with the results. They sit tight to the rocker, and have plenty of adjustment closer to rocker or farther away. I kept mine out a little only to offer a larger platform to fit my foot, instead of just that ball of my foot. Also more door ding protection.
I like them and they are pretty much exactly what I was looking for.
Here are some pics.

Ill probably go with something from Rocky Road Rock sliders. Definitely not cheap, but they are legit rock sliders that bolt to the frame. Guaranteed not to bend or dent.
Rocky Road’s site is like traveling back to the 1995 interwebs.
