What's new

What did you do to your Trailboss today? 🛠️

Added RC nerf bars, hopefully by the end of the weekend I’ll have my SST kit installed
I'm a little jealous. I have the SST kit sitting in my garage. It's just too damn hot to install the kit on my truck in the driveway. 102° in West Florida today. Actual temp, not "feels like" temp.

I got the tempory set mounted up. Doesn't look too bad, but miss the 35's

I'm more impressed that your truck fits into your garage. Stock, my truck doesn't fit. Shark fin will hit the door. Baja Designs light bar on top of the GM Accessories sport bar would hit the door frame. My wife is 6 years from being able to retire, and I hope we can settle and build a dream house. Think I can convince her we need a 10 foot tall garage door? I want an air conditioned garage with a lift, too. Interior ceiling would have to be 16 feet tall, lol.

Installed Ready lift SST 2” lift and added 2” spacer to get that poke. I really wanna run the stock wheels so hopefully I’ll add some 35’s soon

It was too damn hot here in Ga last night. I waited till about 9 to get started. Ended up in the bed about 3. I was struggling. Way to hot to be turning wrenches and cussing

Finally got my RC Light Controller in and got the SS3 lights hooked up. Not many options for mounting stuff under hood. Happy with results. Still will need to aim lights when out on level ground and dark.

Tinted the amber turn / flashers / runnin lights today. Still shows through when needed. But looks slick. 😎
that looks awesome. 1) what did you use for tint? 2) how does it look when the white lights or any lights show through? Maybe pictures of that. I do like that little special affect that our trucks do but that tint looks really cool.

Installed MotoFab leveling plates...

After a couple of months and a few thousand miles the bumper/winch weight sag settled at 1/2" nose down from stock. The plates brought up the front 7/8" so I am 3/8" above stock height and super happy. Rides perfect and sits level with a full load. Cost was $25.

I did find that GM, from the factory, had not tightened the upper ball joint on the passenger side all the way. Maybe it was installed on a Tuesday morning after a Monday night football game! :ROFLMAO: You can see the gap circled in yellow when I'm squeezing with channel locks. I was able to use needle nose vise grips to keep it from spinning and get it apart. Tapers looked good so I put it back together and tightened it properly. Funny I never noticed a clunk...

I do love this truck!🤙
