What's new

What did you do to your Trailboss today? 🛠️

Added 35’s to the rig this afternoon. I had a brand new set on a set of wheels I wanted to run on my 96. Decided I’d swap them around since it’s not being driven much these days.

Looks good RedhotChevy! What lift and size tire are you running? Any wheel spacers?

Any rubbing issues at all?
Yes. Rubbing hard on the mud flap. I’ve got the Sharp Truck fender plugs on the way to delete the mud flap. I’m sure I’ll have to delete the inner bracket as well

I was thinking of having my local Line-X guy black out my chrome tips on the exhaust..I asked him about it and believe it or not he had no experience with that sort of mod..Surely I am not the only one who had this idea...? Anyone black out their exhaust tips.?? If so how..?
You can black them out yourself with heat resistant paint for painting BBQ grills . I painted mine year ago and they still look great . Just make sure to scotch brite the Crome before painting them so it will stick .

I used Plasti-dip. Came out great. I used this on my old truck and it lasted for years. That way you don’t have to scar up the chrome at all. I put about 7-10 layers and it is very heat resistant.
