I’ll take better pics tomorrow, but my tablet mount finally came in so I finished configuring my old 8th gen iPad (with the help of ChatGPT) and got it mounted

The lock screen has a 66 step side C10 in candy apple red, that was my dad’s first project truck when I was a kid (‘97 to ‘00 or so).

That Home Screen has my wife’s jeep (supposed to be a Gladiator but AI fucked it all up ) and my CJ7 I just got (but a finished AI version lol).

I’ll use ChatGPT to help me build out a thread for setting this up for anyone else interested. I’ll make a separate thread for it with ETSY links and stuff.

And someone had mentioned they were curious to where I have my Tackmount placed, that they thought I’d hit it when shifting from park and such…there’s plenty of clearance, even with the phone stuck to it

I like a clean look with the wires not being all over the place, so the Tackform side looks OK to me but the iPad’s just floating around and some of the GPS’ wiring sticking out a lot from the cigarette lighter is no bueno to me.

I need to get a shorter cig lighter thing and rework the wires on that side.

Added this awesome metal storage bin to my 21 TB. I have the Custom trim that didnt come with the backseat storage bin and didnt want to cut the z71 floor mats so I found this on Amazon. I think its great, bolts into place and holds all my gear. Highly recommend! Very easy to put together and install. Took a total of 20mins at most. Worth the $110!

Just did the same. Bought on Ebay. Went with the American Flag design because, AMERICA! The red is really close to the trucks "Red Hot" paint shade.

Speaking of stickers; when I got my brothers truck…I noticed the stickers in CHEVROLET on his tailgate were hella crooked (idk if it’s noticeable in the first picture or not), so I peeled them off and ordered replacements off Etsy.

The following pics are drom today; I thoroughly cleaned the letters and put the new ones on. They’re nicer, thicker quality and look great! They don’t match the glossy black of SILVERADO and CUSTOM though so I may take those off tbh. Not sure what I wanna do yet.

I’ve been saying I don’t like that “Custom” is a trim on these trucks. I get the history behind it, but these literally look like the Walmart stick-on “CUSTOM” emblems anyone can get, so I’ve been tempted already to remove at least that…and it’s a Chevy so everyone knows it’s a Silverado so really don’t need that either lmao we’ll see what happens. For now tho, I’m happy

I completely debadged my truck the first week I owned it. No stickers or emblems.

BUT!!!! My favorite is my DIY Decked box. Finally finished minus drawer separators and organizing everything. Made from 3/4 plywood and flex sealed painted to seal it all up.
