What did you do to your Trailboss today? 🛠️

Traded in my trail boss today!! Got something a little more reliable and a lot more offroad capable.

93k original miles, leather, power seats, runs 70 mph down the hwy. I guess it wont tow as much as the 6.2 could of.

Hi. Just joined. I’m doing things a little backwards. I won’t have my truck until next week. I have a few add-ons sitting in my living room ready to install.
1. Ionic 5” Black Curved Nerf Bars from RealTruck.com
2. BakFlip MX4 Hard Folding Bed Cover from Amazon
3. Rydonair 7” Rubber Antenna from Amazon
4. Pulsar LT Control Module
Installed the side nerf bars this morning

Installed the BakFlip bed cover today. Took awhile because temperature was toasty today. I had to get in the pool a few times to get cooled off.

Ran wiring for my VanTrue N4 dash cam. Installed the Pulsar LT also.
Didn’t complete the dash cam. Too hot out there.

Just ordered a Carven TR series muffler and took a pretty picture this morning. Lol

After I installed my BakFlip and went wheeling in the desert I was surprised when I opened my tailgate. The back of my truck was full of expensive electronics. The cases were covered in so much dirt it looked like I had no cover at all. It turns out there is at least a 1/4 inch gap down both sides and across the bottom of the tailgate. The bed and gate do not even come close to seating. When your driving the veturi efect kicks in and litteraly sucks dirt into your bed because of the cover. It's a cheap easy fix. I put adhesive weather stripping around the back edge of the bed to create a seal when the gate is closed. It made a huge difference.

Replaced original Trail Boss stickers with matte black ones. Looks great with the Midnight Edition package.

Installed the Husky Liners rear wheel well liners today. Not as difficult as I had heard, but not quite as easy as in the demo video, either.
So that about does it for everything we planned to stick on this new truck. 🤗

Looks great!!! I need to do the same, question do the little plastic nuts come with the Husky’s??

Installed the Pulsar LT, disabled Auto/Stop Start, DFM, throttle setting 3, and updated tire size. I have 315/70/R17 tires on my truck and had to configure to 33.6 inches (1 inch lower) to get the MPH calibrated with my GPS. Easy mod, loving new throttle setting. Let's see how much my MPG goes down after changing these settings.
