I can explain the issue with them. It is weak sidewalls. This is my 5th 4wd vehicle. I have been off road in all types of terrain for many years. Up until the Duratracks I have never blown out a side wall because of a rock scrape. I have 18,000 mile on the TB, I'm sure at least 3,000 of them are off pavement. I have ripped open the Duratrack sidewalls FOUR times! It does not take much to do it, the hits were not even hard conditions, just rock scrapes. They are also weak on sidewall support. On a heavy rig like the TB I can only air down to 25 PSI. The sidewalls turn to mush below that and of course ground clearance quickly goes away. A strong off road tire can go well below that. I have road hazard on them so I am stuck in this loop of replacing the blowouts. It sucks to think about spending a ton of money to replace what should be good tires. I am not a Goodyear hater. I did not know they were trash until I had problems and looked into it. Bottom line is bad sidewalls. That's why so many people are complaining. What does everyone do with their unused Goodyear Duratacs? I laugh every time I hear about the noise. I love these things off road. No issues at all off road. I'd go anywhere with them. Would I buy them again? Wouldn't discount them as an option i know that. I don't mind the road noise as it is a truck designed for off road. Not a daily driver to put highway miles on. Again, I laugh as to why it is such a big deal. LOL
