What's new

What did you do to your Trailboss today? 🛠️

What does everyone do with their unused Goodyear Duratacs? I laugh every time I hear about the noise. I love these things off road. No issues at all off road. I'd go anywhere with them. Would I buy them again? Wouldn't discount them as an option i know that. I don't mind the road noise as it is a truck designed for off road. Not a daily driver to put highway miles on. Again, I laugh as to why it is such a big deal. LOL
I sold all 4 of my used garbage Duratrac tires. I can easily take her off roading with the Mickey Thompsons, but do not have to listen to the loud annoying sound from them when traveling to wherever. You can keep yours. I did not...

That's cool! I get it. I also enjoy my Harley motorcycle too though. Neighbors not so much, but at least they hear me coming down the road! LOL

Finally re-installed satin black hood scoop. Hard to see difference on black truck-easy to tell difference from behind the wheel. Sorry for dusty truck-grape harvesting.

I plasti dipped my Z71 emblem two years ago and it’s showing some chip and wear… where did you purchase that matte black Z71 emblem? Thanks
sorry for the late response I got them from Amazon, had a return credit so covered most of the cost. As an update so far so good no fading in the Texas sun or chipping yet. I do hand wash the truck at home so not sure if they would hold up to a machine wash but the tape seemed legit.

Ready Lift SST, and 10” RC leds in grill. Trimmed mud flaps and tucked wheel liner so I can fit some 35”s

Mud flap delete because they will bend your fenders. Placing rigid mud flaps right behind the front tires is a big mistake. When you crawl over a rock or log with the front tire you will come down on the rigid flap. The best you can hope for is that the stiff flap will bend and crease ruining the so called flap. If it does not crease it bends the fender! A very frustrating bad design. You can't just take them off because there is a slot cut in the fender underneath them. The solution is to buy a delete kit for four overpriced pieces of plastic trim for 150.00 bucks. Even that kit is not molded to fit perfectly but it is better than bent fenders. Once I was done I do think it even looks better than the OEM flaps. And can someone explain to me what good the rear flaps are anyway when they are in front of the rear tires? They all had to go.

Looks good! I’m going to do the same. The factory flaps on the rear are just for aerodynamics to help mpg.
