Thank you
Remove them and spray them with high heat paint. They can be found in flat, matt, glossy finishes. Many have used basic high heat grill paint but Rustoleum now makes high heat auto paints as well.I was thinking of having my local Line-X guy black out my chrome tips on the exhaust..I asked him about it and believe it or not he had no experience with that sort of mod..Surely I am not the only one who had this idea...? Anyone black out their exhaust tips.?? If so how..?
I have read that some dealerships will not work on trucks with this installed and it could mess with emissions during inspection. Also might void warranty. If you want to install wait til your warranty expires or take to someone that will work on it.Yes to catch can! Everyone should look into what it does.
Than any grill paint will do.They don’t really get very hot since they aren't connected to the exhaust.
I sprayed mine with hyperdip while it was on the truck. Super easy. Can always peel it off later if you dont like it or have issues.Remove them and spray them with high heat paint. That's BS. Might be time to go to a different stealership. They have to prove any failure of a part was caused by the modification that you do. Don't fall for that. As far as paint goes, use high temp grill paint. Less than $10.I have read that some dealerships will not work on trucks with this installed and it could mess with emissions during inspection. I used VHT header paint flat black..worked great so farThan any grill paint will do.
