2022What year is your truck?
This is just pertaining to the L87 models of the 6.2 engine.Stupid question... is this just the 6.2L put in trucks or all 6.2L including LT4 based?
Thanks for the clarification on this! I was like WTF I just put it in last year. This is just pertaining to the L87 models of the 6.2 engine.
Talked to my service advisor today. All about displacement. So many factors play into it. Different scenario, but I had a Ski-doo 900CC Ace snowmobile comparable to the 1200CC in a lot of ways. However the added weight just didn't work for me.
No it won’tthis certainly won't help the resale value of trucks with the 6.2l
your is AFTER every date i have seen or heard of being affected. My 2025 has a 9/2024 build date. The engine stamp is 12702630. Last 6 of the VIN is 138442.
I'm curious to see what the dealer response is when I bring it in next month for an oil change.
several dealers i have touched based with, are aware of this...but are still waiting for GM to mail YOU, YOUR letter on how to proceed.
That matches what my dealer is telling me.several dealers i have touched based with, are aware of this...but are still waiting for GM to mail YOU, YOUR letter on how to proceed.
mine still wont swap the oil to 0-40, wont look at cylinder head sticker, and will not do the code verification nor the scope test. they claim they DONT KNOW what to do, until GM issues it by date or VIN.
